So I watched the movie Rent, oh , lets say, 3 times over the past few days.I have to be honest, I really didnt think I would like it, but I was wrong, really , REALLY wrong. It was magnificent! Like, I like musicals, admittedly, they are badass. But I was a little bit shifty about Rent, it has such a huge following in the dramatic arts community, I thought it would be really, REALLY pretentious. But it's not, its great, the music all kicks ass, the direction, is horrible (stupid Chris Columbus) but you totally forget about it after a little while. It was a really good movie, and I would watch it a ton more times. I suggest to anybody out there who is doubting it to see it. It's a bloody Rock Opera, the first to be performed on a stage for sure.
Well then, I dont have much else to report, just go see that goddamned movie!
