This is blasphemy! This is madness!

THIS IS SPARTA!

So I saw 300 tonight. Needless to say it was bloody fantastic. Every single shot was enthralling, every line was amazing and every time I got to see a guy get his arm or leg lopped off by a wicked ass Spartan I almost shouted "YES! YOU CUT OFF THAT MAN'S ARM! YOU OWN!"

It was absolutely fantastic. I don't think I can remember a single part that was even remotely disappointing. It far overshot my expectations, and it rocked my socks off. The music was awesome, and, as a friend of mine had pointed out on the ride home; it made very good use of slow motion. You know how some movies have so much slow motion action that you would just sit there, while the guy lept at someone with his sword, waiting for him to hit, thinking something along the lines of "fucking, move faster!". Well, this movie had more slow motion than that, and still managed to not become one of those movies. The slow motion only enhanced the presentation and every single time it went into slow motion, I was finding myself watching every single move a character made.

I think so anyway. So, last week Zack and Chris came to Clinton to hang out for march break. It was cool, we drank Fiji Water, zack threw up a fucking mountain, we played Maple Story, it was all cool.

Well, I've had a long night of awesome movie, and I'm going to head to bed. Ja Ne and such.
